Frank Jackson
There are numerous men with this name in the CWGC and military records and numerous men with this name living in Cheshire in the 1911 census – but I can find no connection with Ashton or nearby places, except the man described in ‘Frank Jackson (Appendix)’
There are no clues in newspaper sources.

Frank Jackson (Appendix)
I have no direct evidence that this is our man, apart from the proximity of Tarvin to Ashton Hayes. No one of this name appears on the Tarvin War Memorial. There must be a high probability that this is the right man, but I have no confirming evidence.
