[the age of Walter Dale here (28) fits with age of Walter Dale in CWGC record above (35 in 1917). It appears that Walter junior was both nephew of Walter senior and his son in law, having married the daughter Lily]

‘DALE  In loving memory of my dear husband, Private Walter Dale, Manchester Regiment, late of Willington, near Kelsall, aged 34 years, who was killed in action in France July 21st 1917         Lily Dale’

[the date she quotes differs by one day to that in army records]
