Walk of Witness

Father Joe began this Walk of Witness in the Catholic Church of St Cuthbert’s with the first Station of the Cross – Pilate condemns Jesus to death – before moving outside for the journey to St John’s. Texts for 8 of the Stations of the Cross were read, the last – the Crucifixion of Jesus – being in St John’s by the vicar, David.

There were approximately 70 pilgrims on this journey and it was a very moving experience which is likely to be repeated next year.
